Thanks for the rare sc legalization post, but I really don't think this is very important at all. A candidate for superintendent has basically no political power, and although there is a little talk of legalization, it's just a little talk, nothing major
I agree with this wholeheartedly. It's just incredibly refreshing to hear any positive talk of legalization from what seems to be the poster state for conservative republicans. I don't think anything will come of this, at least not immediately, but it is nice to hear people touch on the subject from a different standpoint.
I think she's head of the teacher's union there, so she's lobbying on behalf of many with much political clout.
