save your seeds

    i dont know if this has been posted yet or not but i found it on myspace, and it sounds like a good idea.

    I've been on this idea for a few years now. Imagine this, everyone who smokes marijuana saves thier seeds throughout the year. On the date of April 20th (4/20) everyone who saved these seeds goes out and throws them anywhere where those seeds have a growning chance. On the side of the road, in your local plaza parking lot, your neighbors yard, your own backyard. Just anywhere you can find a place to place a seed or two, or a few even, you plant them. If everyone does this every year, within five years there will be marijuana growing all over the place. Then what is the Goverment going to do? Are they going to arrest everyone that picks a weed off the side of the road? Maybe, but it's worth the fight. So I beg all of those who smoke to save those seeds and sew them annually. The furture of Marijuana Reform Laws Depend On It!!!!

    I remember after buying some really shitty bud, I pulled like 14 seeds out of it. I tossed them out my window, and after a few days, I was amazed to see 2 pot plants sprouting where the seeds landed. Still, though, this sounds like a good idea.

    ^ i have heard an idea like this before except you take the seeds and put them in Helium filled ballons let them float away and once they reach a certain altitude they will pop releasing all of the seed all over the ground, no where near you or your property :)

    It would be better to have them near your property then. I'll help your plan! and still grow some of my own plants in the process.

    This is one of the best threads I have read so far. Although I see a problem for me, I have found 1 seed in the past several years, which I still have (OG Kush?).

    I really like the balloon idea, imagine thousands of seed-filled balloons drifting away on a smoky april 20.

    And I wouldn't limit the seed planting just for 4/20.

    someone posted this idea already earlier...the original idea can be read at www.johnnyweedseed.org...the idea was to plant industrial hemp seeds...not the seeds you get in your weed...that would not be enough and no one will buy seeds to just throw them away...you can buy hemp seeds by pounds for very cheap.

    its not saying to go and buy seeds. you just need to use your bag seed. i know i have like 20 seeds i got from a few 1/8ths i have bought. and i am going to keep saving all that i get. and put a few off to side for my own use.

    Jesus, I've been having my threads run down and new ones made all night and then saying theirs is amazing and genious idea. And I get, oh, ok... lol

    but w/e, nice to know you know.

    to tell you the truth the weed i get i almost never get seeds...so over 5 years i'll probably end up with 3 seeds...most people dont get lots of seeds at all...so few seeds per person wont really work...thats why the idea is to buy hemp seeds since you can buy 1000's of them for very cheap and just go spread them all over your town...plus dont forget that only few seeds will sprout and even fewer will continue to grow...i don't know if your idea is the same as the one posted on johnnyweedseed.org...but his idea is to grow hemp plants with no THC in it so the government will waste time/money to collect all these hemp plants, then analize them for THC and also build storage units for tons of these hemp plants...basically the plan is to overwhelm the government in the process....sounds crazy...will it work? fuck if i know...but sounds fun anyways...all of a sudden seeings all these plants all over...more people will learn about cannabis and change their attitude towards the plant(hopefully)

    I already save my seeds. I think I'll go toss them somewhere when the bottle gets full.
