sativa vs. indica?

    So my last 2 smokes were Bubblegum which is apparently indica and Haze which is a sativa.

    Is the difference in the highs because of the strains always so huge?

    Bubblegum: I was totally stoned...didn't want to move at all. Vision was tunneled and my arms seemed really long and stuff like that. High paranoia.

    Haze: Whole body was numb and even focusing my eyes seemed like a task that took a lot of effort. It was very different than the Bubblegum and I wasn't really stoned, like I didn't feel heavy.

    Also: is this normal? When I'm high it seems like I am comprehending/understanding things far faster than normal. Like I will watch a TV show and whena character says something I will understand immediately and even think about related things at what seems like lightning-speed thoughs. Strange.

    Sorry for sounding like a noob...well I am one. I have some more of this Haze left so I'm going to go finish it off (alone tonight :p ) wish me luck.

    All I'll say is yes, yes it is normal. Well... I suppose results will vary but yeah, good times. Been there done that, will do so again soon. :p

    you pretty much hit the head of the nail, indica strains have more of the "couch lock" or "body" high, while sativas give you a "head" high. and then of course you have your hybrids, which can be either sativa or indica dominant, but can have the effects of both.

    Yeah man sounds like a indica dominant to me. But then again you could comprehend things faster, or so you think, which sounds like an effect a sativa would give you.

    You might have had a hybrid.
    But I find it weird how sativas make my mind race like crazy, so I cant comprehend things. I guess that's why I prefer indica :smoking:

    sativa vs. indica will soon be a moot point with all the cross breeding they are doing, to add to the matter, it also depends when the plant was harvested, cut early with mostly clear crystals = sativa type high and cut late you end up mostly amber crystals and heavy couch lock high

    and i wont even get into the dominant trait issue.

    just smoke diff herb and find one that suites you for whatever mood your in ya digg?

    No, I know what you mean when you comprehend things right away. It's almost too much at times. For me, it mostly happens when I'm watching a TV show.

    yeah i find i notice things in movies or things that people say on tv or in a song and understand an underlying message for e.g. theres a song from "The Pharcyde" called pack the pipe, and you may think im just a dumbass for reliesing this but i only reliesed it when high part of the song goes" the bud not the beer cuz the bud makes me wiser.

    as in bud makes him wiser and then beer but its trippy cuz its budweiser beer:eek:
