Sativa vs Indica

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by KaliKush25, Nov 15, 2014.

  1. I have been smoking for about a year now and still can't tell the difference between a sativa and indica high. Basically whenever I smoke, I get one of 2 types of highs. One is a high where I can lay in bed and listen to music and I literally feel like I'm in a NASA gyroscope (constantly flipping and spinning). The other type of high I get is where the feelings in my spine intensify a lot. For example, when I was in the car with my friend (while having this kind of high) he shut the trunk and it literally sent a shockwave starting at the top of my spine and it went to the top of my head, all the way to my toes. In my opinion, I like that kind of high better. So what kind of cannabis am I smoking when I get those effects? I would just ask the guy I buy from but I don't think he would know because he sells brick weed. Thanks for the help!

  2. indicas have the low, couch-locking effect that often makes

you sleepy or otherwise very relaxed.

sativas have an uplifting high, giving you energy/inspiration

in whatever activity you're engaged in.

I believe the first type you describe in your first post is an indica,

    and the second a sativa.

  3. half the time it is a hybrid, anyway

  4. Yeah most of the no name off the street are hybrids because the people selling them don't care about the plants genealogy. That said some strains will have more indica than sativa, and some more sativa than indica and so on.

  5. Sativa gives you a more energetic high
while Indica gives you that sit on the couch and eat Doritos high

  6. If your smoking street weed chances are you have been lied to about the strain, even if not on purpose.

Most street weed is indica anwyay

  7. To be honest from my personal experience I can not tell the difference between the two. The only time that I noticed any sort of difference was when I was lucky enough to smoke some White Widow. That was a kick ass sativa. I noticed pretty much right away that it wasn't a couch lock high and that I actually felt like getting up and doing things.

  8. yeah... most street weed is indica due to the ease of growing

gef info from credible sources as you should be able to determine the effects

  9. When I smoke I get high, I don't really think/care about if it's sativa or indica.
