Sativa vs indica??

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by BlazingZombiess, Mar 18, 2012.

  1. If you had to choose on or the other to smoke for the rest of your life, which on would it be???

  2. I personaly would choose indica, i used to be a sativa person, but ive smoked soo much sativa that ive grown to love indicas. Ive also realized that sativas are usualy not as dank as indicas..

  3. sativa for me. id rather have the uplifting, clear and cerebral stone that it provides.

even though with errls...it seems like its all super cerebral whether its sativa or indica

  4. Indica all the way. Sativas don't help as much with my nausea and I also prefer the high and taste of indicas in most cases (sweet/skunky/ and earthy Indica over the often spicy and piney sativas). Mostly though, I need strains that boost my appetite and keep me calm. Indica highs remind me of being a noob stoner, getting silly and eating half the food in the house. Pure sativa highs aren't as pleasant or smooth.

^^Yeah i totaly agree with you. Thats why i have been questioning sativas lately because the high has not being smooth and pleasant lately...

  6. thats why I love hybrids

  7. HA! I'm kind of going the other route....

I have found a place that sells OLD SCHOOL Colombian Sativa and it's really nice. Also, at the same place, they sell a Malawi Sativa that takes around 130 days to grow -incredible. Not so much "dank" as it is flavorful. A lot of Sativas that are available have been crossed with something and I think that renders the true Sativa effect less than spectacular. BUT, when you get a real 100% Sativa, then you'll know what I mean. Some of this has to do with the cystolithic hairs (Google it).

I have just about every Indica strain in town, too! -love 'em!

^^ nice, yeah i realy dont mind sativas at all, it all depends on my mood i guess... where is this place that sells this colombian sativa located at?

  9. In Seattle at a place called Puget Sound health Alternatives.

  10. I picked up a purple there the other day that was a Sativa dominant hybrid ...I usually don't go for the hybrids as much anymore, but this one was so purple, it was beautiful just to look at. And it had a kind of diesel-y and purple flavor that's hard to describe. I really like it -never really tasted anything like it before.

I hate to sound like a cheerleader, but when you find a place within a city that has some of the best marijuana in the world, in general, and then you happen onto a place that carries strains that are noticeably better than what you've gotten used to, it really makes an impression!

  11. I find that I really enjoy Purple Deisal as my Sativa. Other than that, I really fucking prefer Purple Magoo as my Indica, for Hybrids, it's Flo and Blue Dream!

Purple Diesel is a hybrid too, but its a great strain. I think we have similar tastes.

Ohh yeah most definetly, i live in cali and ive had that same experience with many clubs. ill get used to one club and think that this one club has the dankest weed, but sure enough ill hit up another club and it will honestly seem like they have danker weed than my usual club. And its sooo noticably different!

  14. Hmmm I feel like I couldn't pick, honestly. I use medical for bipolar disorder, so I use indica when I get manic and sativa when I get depressed. So then maybe sativa, because it is better to be overly happy then not happy. :p

  15. Really? Fweedom here in Seattle has it as a Sativa. They also test their bud.

Well it may be considered sativa Dom, but it's a Purple Kush and Sour Diesel cross. Sour Diesel already isn't a pure sativa so I would consider the cross hybrid myself. But it is tall and lean like a sativa. Growing some now. I was told it was GDP X Sour D at the club but all the other Purple Diesel I've seen was PK x Sour D so I'm assuming the club didn't have their facts straight. Either way it's a sativa crossed with and Indica

It's possible yours is a different cross.

  17. Sativa, love the high.

  18. I'm a sativa man myself but I plan on growing indicas since their best for beginners

  19. Indica. Hands down.

  20. I LOVE sativas when its a nice hot day for some reason lol. I love indicas when im just chilling watching a movie or something.
