Is it possible to grow Thai Sativa ( or another Sativa ) in my growspace which is only 110cm high ? If it is, should I veg them for a very short period until they are , say 4cm high and then go straight into the flowering cycle ? ( I've only ever gtown indica before so I'm totally new to this but would love to grow a sativa ) Thanks.

you need to do some research before you officially get this grow on the road. LST is short for Low Stress Training. OK, so lets say you have a plant now and its a few inches tall.. you're gonna want to some how anchor it down sideways so its parallel with the dirt. as it grows it will naturally start to bend upward towards the lights. as this happens and begins to get taller bend it again and again untill it is eventually going in a circle around the pot. now remember when you first start to do this DO NOT over bend it. gradually anchor it down so you know youre not harminig your plant. another form of LST is to just have some sort of shelf over top of your small plant. but not some solid wood shelf but like a metal closet shelf that the plant would be able to some what fit through but will restrict its height. if you dont understand i shall go on into more detail
There are plenty of tutorials on this site regarding LST, ScrOG, topping and things of that nature. Go ahead and search those terms, you will find a lot of info and examples. Also, there are some genetics that are sativa dominant that are medium in stature compared to the usual tall boys. Do the homework.

yes it is, my plant looks to be very sativa according to the leaves and the flowering time. I used LST and i should just have enough room till harvest. Just got to keep tying it down, without harming bud sites. Check my sig out for link to my journal if you want.
Yes you can, there is a new strain of sativa created by the green house company from Amsterdam. Its a sativa that is short and bushy just like the indicas, Arjan is the king. Hi marcusgrowing. The answer is yes mate it can be done. But im no expert midn you. Im very much a noob and on my first grow. Im growing Ghs hawaiian snow which is sativa dom and sounds like a damn nice smoke. Flowering time is at least 11wks recommended. I thought i may be punching above my weight choosing this strain for my 1st grow, but really wanted to try sativa. Also im on the same boat as you mate except i have a whole 20 cm more than you . Im growing it in a dr60 along side a topped lemon skunk. Im just into my 2nd week of 12/12. Started lst at about 9 inches i think. Was vegged for nearly 6 weeks, but with me not feeding properly it didnt look like a 6 week old plant i believe, but still healthy and i was in no rush. Il put the link to my grow, its over in a uk growers thread. Im happy with my grow so far and have high hopes for it but i must mention that it woldnt have been possible without the help of the guys over there. Iv uploaded a few of pics of my progress along the way with the hawaiian snows growth and some of my lst work that has turned out pretty good i hope {used the spiral method, well started the spiral method},.... all going well should be a very good example of how a sativa can be grown in fairly confined spaces . {i have more pics that i didnt upload, pm or anyone else for that matter if your intrested, but like i said, im no expert lol} My lemon skunk is also a good example of how a fucked up seedling can bounce back and grow into a nice little plant. Like the other guys say, just look/ask around, its all here.
