Sativa back topping

    Does anyone have any experience with saliva back topping during the first 3wks? I was looking up some info on chemdog and some info came up that seems to suggest that topping chemdog during the first couple of weeks during flower will produce a bigger yield and more potent? Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

    Not sure what 'back topping' is, do you just mean topping?

    Topping won't increase potency, but it will increase yield under the right circumstances and it will help keep the plant shorter and bushier. Not all strains/phenos like the same things, though - so there's no set way of doing things, it may increase yield for one while hurting or not effecting another.
