so i was wondering how many satanists blades there are in the city p.s i'm not trolling i just want to see and im a satanists
im a LaVeyan satanist ive been part of a few rituals in my area do woreship satan or were you just asking me?
I don't understand why people who believe in heaven and hell...would choose hell? Just seems kind of silly if you ask me.
Good question. It is silly. Therefore, we have the opportunity to ask, "How have our precepts deceived us?" Heaven and hell are sort of interesting but maybe carry too much pretense. I don't know whether a wiser Satanist would agree but the way I see it, the concept of Satan is traditionally superficial with little insight into reality. It is important to take absolutely every thing into account if you are to understand Everything. Yin and Yang is an interesting concept that I can't help think of in this case. So the question I ask then is, "Where do God and Satan fit?" We could say, "Well I think God is Yang and Satan Yin for God is good, and Satan, bad." That seems the immediate choice but we take care with this in light of experience. It just seems superficial considering what we know of God (we may be redefining God in this case.) So we could venture that God is not Yang if Satan is Yin. I wonder if Satan is actually something not at all sinister but just a part of Nature that was misunderstood and I connect this in some ways to the oppression of the female gender. That last bit is just a speculation requiring further contemplation. Evil is often just a misunderstanding. A lot of fun can be had with this.
well i just seen christianity as like to follow the athurity to a higher power where some christians can take it too far where as in satanism you can act a little more freely ill return to this matter when i have more time
Well...what if God (Jehovah) was trapping us on earth....fucking us up. Satan TRIED to set us free in the garden of eden. He was the one that gave us the knowledge of good and evil. Jehovah fucked him up though...But the truth remains Jehovah is evil. Satan is our saviour. Most people are deceived by Jehovah. Jehovah is evil enough he has tricked the world into worshipping him. Satan is your only way out of Jehovah's prison.
If i were to believe in the tradition teachings of the bible, Satanism actually makes more sense than i'd care to admit. Worshiping Satan is sort of like giving the bully your lunch money.
It does to me too. But I think there are lots of reasons people do it. Some people can't understand (or maybe have trouble experiencing) the concept of salvation and so they rebel against it. Others see the people who choose heaven and rebel against them. I think a lot of people do it as a mockery of the Christian religion too. Lastly, some people are just attracted to the ideas of hell I think. Does it make them evil to like evil?... That reminds me of a great story but suffice it to say that it does not
I have a very very hard time believing that Satan is just the poor helpless underdog who was trying to do nothing but good. Also, if you think Satan would show you any mercy for being on "his side" then I guess you are quite the gambler.
So, according to this thread: If you worshipped God then you would be an eternal fool once you die since he tricked you. If you look at satan and realized he is justified and was just given a bad image and you loved him then you would have real morals, which are more important than "good and evil" actually freeing your soul from only one choice. Thanks guys, this makes it easier for me to understand people like Acid King (Ricky Kasso) though he was insane he was actually trying to help the dude he sacrifised by saying "Say you love Satan", believing he was freeing his soul, proving he had morals. Now, was it so "Good" of the Christians that ran that town to have given him a terrible image after he died? I'd say that is the opposite of what they thought God wanted them to do. Though I dont believe in Satanism, I think understand Morals over Religion. +rep to Madrid But tell me if I got the wrong points.
I couldn't stand the people in the religion. They were the most pompous, pretentious, self righteous, goody goddy's I had ever met in my life. Not to mention they were very arrogant too. I had a falling out when I started witnessing how these people were treating everyone around them. If I could only get my tattoos removed
U know.. now when i think of it all, if all the old stories or some of them are true. (which i give 1%) then i would do anything satan did if i were in his situation. I lost my faith in god when i was 12, i lost my faith in humanity when i was 16. I'm not even an atheist. i believe nothing now.
I never met a person who went from atheist to believing in nothing, but your reasons are damn straight.
