It will leave you no buffer for your plant Other words when you water or feed it will run right to the botom giving your plant no time to absorb thru root system. Hope that made sense
Sand is ok to mix into soil to lighten it up and help with drainage, although pearlite is preferred. But sand alone, not so much.
