Gubble Bum Update 7-5-2015 I don't know what the fuck happened, but the plant that was originally here just wilted and died overnight.
OK I gotta ask. Whats up with the tooth picks? Is that for pest control? Sorry to hear about loosing a plant. Kinda looks like over watering. But that doesn't just happen overnight. Maybe root aphids.
Well, it's been a while. I have been running into complications. I had a bad outbreak of spider mites on a few of the Purple OG Kush plants. This happened a couple of weeks into flowering, so my options were limited. I have them under control now, with a combination of ladybugs, predatory mites, an alcohol/water mixture spray, & wind (fan). I am in there every morning & evening spraying the few clusters that pop up. I don't expect to get rid of them completely, I just hope to keep them under control until harvest. Unfortunately, I have a bigger problem on my hands now. I don't know if it is a boron deficiency or fusarium wilt. My gut is telling me fusarium wilt. It is present in both green houses. I have been cutting off whole branches, trying to keep it from spreading. I even cut down a whole plant. It was in the back corner that gets the least amount of light. The only plants that I haven't seen it on, are the ones that had/have the spider mite infestation. I don't know what the fuck else to do. Even if you only have delusions of being an expert, get the fuck in here and tell me what to do.
It doesn't look like you are far into flower maybe close up the greenhouse and put in a few no pest strips that will kill the mites. I have no clue about fusarisum wilt maybe you should post in the sick plant thread. Or pokes thread
Sorry for the late response. It is hard to tell by the photos, but they are barbecue skewers. The vertical ones are to keep my little dogs and cats out of the soil. They were digging around in the soil when I first put the pots out. After getting poked a few times, they have learned to stay out. The horizontal ones are for tying down branches.
