Saliva test Friday

    Hey guys just got a callback from smiths they wanna do a drug screening Friday. I'm about 90 percent sure it's a saliva test. Last time I smoked was yesterday early afternoon and late at night. Is there any prep I should do so I pass or how long does it stay in your saliva. I read online it takes about 2 or 3 days depending on body mass and health etc. Was hoping to get some advice from anyone with experience. thank you in advance..

    Don't know if it helps but I'm a pretty healthy Individual probably ride about 10 miles a day and gym every other day but I smoked bud non stop for a while and smoke cigarettes regularly.

    They say the detox shit actually works. Kinda surprised they do saliva tests. Urine tests seem to be the most common.

    You could maybe lie to them & say someone spiked you with an edible & you didn't know till you was high.. it's worth a shot if ur going to fail anyway :confused_2: just tell them straight before you take the test & also say you don't want waste there time/money failing a test since you where "spiked" so you'll fail lol:laughing:

    As a hiring supervisor, I would strongly advise against this lol good stuff though.

    Really its best to see what happens and then man up (kind of) if needed. Dont be super honest, but if positive say something like
    " I was in Cali for my best friends wedding and *may* have taken a hit or two of a legal marijuana joint. I hope this , on reflection, poor decision doesn't prevent me from bringing my skillset to the team."
    Something like that. May work, may not. ;)

    Well a lot of the problems stem from insurance. See most employers really don’t care that you smoke but their insurance providers do. My company doesn’t give a rip if people smoke and half of the employees there smoke including owners sons lol. But if you get hurt and don’t say it was your fault or that it happened outside work, you will be mandated to take a test. This is a very common practice. Some places that hold higher value insurance require higher rated providers and in turn they are stricter (follicle tests (though easy to pass but regular) and routine urine or ransoms urine testing)

    Bottom line is, only people who juke the tests are those who are using some sort of potent detox head shop mix or can use others urine/ fake urine, old clean urine etc.

    Saliva tests I didn’t think were all that tricky to pass using detox methods? Like 8 hours effective I thought I’ve been told?

    How it works is employer has employee test again after agreed amount of time... like 3 business days if saliva test. As said before, nothing guaranteed.
