saftey regulations....

  1. Today, I read an article in the paper about how a 4 year old kid, and her father were killed in a snowmobile accident because they were not wearing helmets. Which dont get me wrong is a tragedy however, I fully believe in survival of the fittest. It is how evolution occours, and animals need evolution to survive in a changing world.

Left right and center playgrounds are being ripped down and roofs are being tore off playground structures because kids have been hurting themselves on them. Can you remember climbing up the tallest playground structure at recess? Fun wasnt it? Yeah, some kids got hurt but they learned a valuable lesson about their physical limits. Kids today are terribly over protected, and are missing out on valuable life lessons.

Sorry if this comes across as rude, but premature death is natures way of weeding out the unfit for todays changing world. If people are not smart enough to figure out they need a helmet when traveling at great speeds unprotected from the ground and obstacles, then they shall learn their lesson. The world should not be changing so all human beings can survive, human beings should be changing so all human beings can survive.

This is evoloution, natural selection, the progression of the human race and natures way of limiting overcrowding. The earths population has doubled in the past 30 years and will continue to do so untill we exauhst every resource, kill every other species, and start suffering ourselves.

These saftey regulations and limits make the aforementioned innevitable. People need to stop being so over protective, and let nature take its course. In doing so people will ensure the betterment of the human race, and the betterment of planet earth. Not everyone can survive, its a fact, one of the earths saftey features.

In the animal kingdom the smart and fit survive where the weak and dumb will die. Try as we might not to be, we are part of this same kingdom. These laws and regulations are diminishing natures tendancy to weed out the weak, and its tendancy to controll our population.

Im pretty blazed, and this might not even make sense. but its what i thought of when i read that article and figured i should wrtie it down. discuss:smoking:

  2. It's fate. Whatever you try to do to dissuade whatever omnipotent entity controls the course of your life, is also fate.

    I'm so high.

  3. Natural selection doesn't exist anymore. We're making people who should die at 50 from an unfortunate cancer live until 60 or even 70 if it goes into remission. People are living way past their 60s and into their 80s even...its not that uncommon for a fairly health male or female to live out until then.

Sure some poor and such still die from negligence or just not affording health care, but most people are living beyond what they would have been if it were still 1860.

Social Darwinism is stupid. Consider genocide.

  7. Hey, before you die, you see the ring....

    ...what

  8. I dunno about the whole evolution thing, but I do think that laws to protect people from the stupid shit they do are pretty asinine. The only benefit I can see is maybe preventing some unpaid medical bills from people who become vegetables or die or w/e, but otherwise I think it should be the responsibility of the people themselves, rather than the government. I don't need them to tell me to wear a helmet when I ride my bike, I know better than to ride without one. Even if it wasn't legally required here, I'd still wear it. Because I'm not a dumbshit and I know the dangers
