safety first....

  1. I live in western Washington State and can't grow outside until May so in the meantime, I'd like to construct and use a smaller size grow chamber to a autoflowering plant.

I would have to put the chamber in my garage. It is unheated, and since it is attached to the house, I don't want to build something that is likely to overheat and burn the house down...

any designs you can recommend for a smaller grow chamber for an unheated garage?

    thanks

An old fridge or freezer should be about the right size, and being well insulated should be easy to keep warm

a fridge is great, cut a hole in the bottom of the freezer and mount the light there, a bit on ventilation and your done! The racks are nice for lowering the plant as oppose to raising the lamp, and once you pull the door panel off and replace with something reflective there's tons of room. Plus it's sound and lightproof and fits in in a garage
