safe to smoke after temporary crown?

    i had a root canal done a lil over a week ago and received a temporary crown yesterday. i’ll have it in for 3 weeks til the permanent crown comes in. i smoked a week after my root canal and i was fine, but i took light hits. all my dentist told me was no hard/sticky food.

    is it safe for me to smoke a joint? i dont think hitting my bong would be good for my crown, but i have a lil doobie rolled up as a 4/20 celebration. the last thing i want is this falling out or becoming loose.

    i think it's just an extraction that smoking is a problem.
