I just bought a new piece today its my first one with a honey comb perc its a very simple piece just the one perc, it doesn't have an ice catcher and I'm wondering if it would be a bad idea to just put crushed ice directly on top of the perc, idk if it could hurt it at all, any thoughts or suggestions are welcome, thanks!
Shouldnt be an issue as long as you dont have to drop the ice too far down but you said you were going to crush it anyways. Fritted percs I would caution doing so though since they're more fragile.
Exactly what he said. I'd try to slide cubes in if I were you. I think you'd be fine with crushed ice though. Honeycomb percs are sick, I have a triple tree rn, and had a dome on my last one
