safe to paint vaporizer box???

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by espn829, Jun 3, 2009.

  1. ok so here is my situation. I've been wanting to get a vaporizer for a while so I finally went to my headshop to checkem out and I ended up gettin offered a pretty good deal on a vapor tech only bad thing is the vape box has some ugly ass designs already on the wooden box so I was wondering if it is safe to spray paint it, I am going to tape off the digital part on the front and even tape off the opening in the box where the metal/glass rod is. so is this safe?

  2. should be fine, as long as you dont gum up anything with paint. the box itself does not get hot, and you would not be breathing it anywya. so go ahead and personalize your vape, it wont hurt it a bit.

  3. Yes it is... the outside box is there to keep your hands from being burnt by the heating element so it is meant to stay cool to the touch. It does get warm but not enough to melt paint.

  4. If you are worried about spay paint getting gummed up just simply use a paint brush and a sample jar of paint. should only cost about 2 bucks at HD or Lowes

  5. You're serious? :poke:

  6. Probably, but it would void any warranty/insurance on it.

Oops, i didnt see spray paint. No, fuck that, use a paint brush, customize with your own designs.
