Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Bcole530, Mar 18, 2016.

  1. Just as the tittle says id like to find a place around Sacramento California and get my medical card.

Where is a legit place to go and what are some steps ill have to take?

  2. I think some are listed on weed maps, or leafly.

You may have to call to make an appointment, of course have your California ID, and cash.

I'll ask my buddy where they just got theirs at.

  4. I do not recommend Med RXC. I tried them before, they gave me my recommendation fine, but they never sent me my damn card. =/

It shouldn't be $200. I think letters and a card average about $55-75. Unless you want a grower's card. But I think with a med card you can have a bunch of plants anyway.

My buddy says they used 420101. They got this purple folder and a laminated rec letter.

I know there are also online services as well, but we are looking for more legit ones. XD

  5. Will this be your first med card?
Or did you not like your doc before?

  6. This will be my first med card!

  7. Ah that's exciting!

I do recommend downloading the weed maps, and leafly apps if you haven't already.

Once you get your rec letter, and your card, you can register as a member of a dispensary, and pretty much as many as you want. (Let me know if you want recommendations on ones to join, strains to try, anything.)

  8. You just have to drive there and give them money for depression. Then you get a 215.

  11. $80 sounds higher than what I've been seeing but not unreasonable.

$125 sounds low for a grow card, I usually see like $150. But heyyyy. XD

If you get into growing or large scale baking it would be a good idea to get a grow card. (For OP)

  12. You might like Abatin. They're small but they focus on the medical, so I've always had knowledgeable bud tenders.
Green door has some nice stuff, but I haven't had a very knowledgeable bud tender yet.
Others are like Cloud 9, Citadel, RCP, 515.
    RCP was my first place.
Every place will have different stuff, and different services, but for the most part it's pretty simple. No phones inside, armed guard, atm inside, usually a themed deal of the day of week. (ex: Waxy Wednesdays)

  13. That is what I do. Do you not know about humboldt county? They expect you to grow outside.

  14. Naw I know of Humboldt.

Prices was @ you. Seems higher for regular but lower for grow.

The last part was @ OP if they were thinking of ever growing or baking a lot.

    Sorry if that got confusing.

  15. Its about 80 in the bay area for a regular card. Almost all the docs around here charge that.

  16. Any comment about medical records? Many places I've seen want them, but I talk to lots of people that didn't need them. If you didn't have them on hand, would you automatically not qualify for an eval?

  17. I didnt need mine but I would imagine each doc is different.
