First of all, thanks GC, you guys rock!! I live in a small country outsided USA or Europe, and first of all, sorry if my english isn't that good. Grow: Small cabinet grow Strain: Nirvana's AK48 feminized Lights: 2 x 20Watts CFL at 3" far, I'm afraid of burn & heat if I add more lights. Age: 14 days from sprout Soil: Dirt + local organic aged cow compost (dunno what this called here) Temps: 78-87F PH: Today I checked my water PH, and its 5.5 Haven't get my runoff checked because today isn't my watering schedule. Nutes: Got my cotyledons yellowing so yesterday used some granulated fertz that I could get here. Its label said 18-9-10+TE(Trace Elements?) Please if there's someone could diagnose it from pics, your helps greatly appreciated! Plus its soooo darn hard in my country to get nice branded equipments, soil, nutes like you all have there. Even epsom salt is super rare here. So, any advice that using home made/really easy-to-get-goods are greatly appreciated. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5392/dsc02547sq.jpg http://img832.imageshack.us/img832/805/dsc02543go.jpg http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/6682/dsc02548q.jpg http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/220/dsc02549v.jpg http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5307/dsc02552k.jpg I'm seeing a Low Ph & Mg deff right?
Hey man, Im new to the game as well but since no one else is helping ill do my best! First what temp is your lights? If they say something like 2700k or something, these will not give the plant the light it needs. You want something more like 6500k or anything maybe around 5000k atleast. Check that. Also 40 watts is pretty small unless you are under 1 sq ft I think. To me these pics look more like nute burn, but again I could be wrong. Cotyledons naturally die off after their nutrients are light gathering becomes obsolete. Maybe try to flush with some h20 and try not back off the nutes a bit. Sorry I couldnt help more.
Albertahigh, thanks for response bro. I'm using 6500k CFLs right now. and yes, I'm under 1 sq feet. The problem occur before I use any nutes. . . Tomorrow I'll try to flush. Strange thing is sometime the yellowing seen, and sometime theres no yellowing at all...
