Hey everyone. Planning a grow to supply myself because the prices of MMJ are, well, more that I want to pay. So, first of all I smoke 7 grams a week. sometimes more sometimes less but 7 is about average. I'm wondering how many plants I can grow and what lights would best suit me. I plan on buying ATLEAST a 150w hps but I'll probably end up getting a 250w or maybe even a 400w. Keep in mind im growing for myself so I don't need to be pulling pounds here. I would like to have a ( I think it was called a perpetual grow ) where I have a few mothers alive of various strains, kept alive in one closet with CFLs ( they will be grown in closet but do not need to be "stealthy" ) and just take clones, let them veg until whenever I decide they are ready to go into flower. So that's my idea for growing, please tell me if that would work. I know the general rule with CFLs is 100w per plant and 50w every additional plant. is this still true for clones and seedlings? Can I use say a 26w until the plant develops a decent root structure then put it into flower? So, in case you didn't ready anything else except this bottom part I want to always have my own medicine ready and never run out. How often would I need to put plants into flowering and how often would I harvest? I know it depends on personal preference when the plants are ready to be cut but what can I expect?
