I was dicking around at old files on my computer and saw a username and password to an account I used to have for Runescape way back in the day. I went on and found a number of rare items that I have had over the years like 2 blue party hats, a few santa hats, and a few other items that I simply have no use for anymore since I stopped playing the game. I also have a really good account that isn't being used. Is there any legal ways of selling these items or selling the account? I have no use for the account since I stopped playing the game years ago and figure someone would want to purchase some of these items. If anyone knows of a website or somewhere I can post the items it would be appreciated, thanks
lol nice. few hundred or something i think. i also want to sell my account so im subbing to this thread. edit: legal probably not. you should just hand it over haha just kidding. you wont get cops on your door though and worst that can happen is them banning your account
well pretty much every way of selling is illegal :/ i play frequently and could really use anything you could give me....
You could make a bunch of money but it's against the games rules but I wouldn't really worry about that too much. Just find a Runescape black market forum or something... I used to be very active on one when I played where people used to sell accounts and items for big bucks. A blue P-hat is probably with some good money considering it's a freaking virtual hat getting any money for that is pretty awesome. AAANND I am pretty sure they took the trade restriction off so you can trade it easily again. Don't just give that shit away...
I play, but on a shitty account. I gave my buddy my account and he changed the password so i made another account thats a pretty low level. It'd be nice to have a party hat sent my way
I recommend going to Sythe.org and going to the black market, do not give these away, they are very valuable. A Blue party hat can go for over $1000, i do not know the exact price but i highly recommend being carful and selling to a very trusted person, You will know how trusted they are as they usually have threads with over 500 posts in them with many successful purchases. Off the top of my head a very trusted seller who you won't get scammed by is kevin001. Good luck
ebay that shit, but dont post anything that will give your character name away or it could get banned.
"Its worth thousands of dollars" "ill give you 50 bucks"
I'll meet you in the middle at $75
Yeah nobody's gonna give you thousands of dollars for that. Good luck trying to sell it for a ridiculous price like that
you dont know that... people dont seem to realize that people take mmos super seriously like more so then real life lol. now me i would never pay for something in game with real money just a waste imo
lol people who hide something they like, hide part of who they are. i initially read the post as he was giving it away lol. BUT. good places to sell them are botting communities, like Rsbot, and kbot, Also a few others you have to pay for to even get the forum. those two are the only ones i know of that are free. scythe like someone has already said is a great place to sell it, if you want to that is. as you litterally have like a billion dollars in a game its sorta funny to say lol. i have a purple one, but would NEVER be able to find a blue one. so pm me with your FAIR price for it this may be against the rules. so if im correct, i apologize but im interested
Yea dude, these things sell for over 1 grand now. I remember years back charging like 30 or 40 bucks to my moms credit card for a Santa Hat. It got hacked away anyway... Fuckers. o rly? People in Asia and Europe used to set up hundreds of computers botting/hacking this game (and many other MMO's) in order to obtain the in game currency and sell it online for money. People ran fucking businesses through these games. There are literally whole books you can buy on how to set up bots and hacks on your computer to get more money in game so that you can then sell it back to companies who then sell it to players.
