  1. ok so i was looking at 14l pots in the shop and they are like £6 each ,then a freind told me he has had great success useing simple thick black rubble sacks ,i got 10 and folded them over at top untill they were about 15l in size ,filled with soil and put some holes in the bottom ,i have had clones in for 4 days now and they are doing very very well indeed ,anyone see any problems with useing rubble sacks over pots?

  2. They will work fine, but plastic is the worst material to use for pot/pot substitute. Clay is better than plastic and fabric pots are the best. Do some research on smart pots and how they increase yield.

I figure if Im growing the stuff for myself, then I will spend a little extra to make my stuff good. Smart pots are cheap anyways.

Anybody can grow a marijuana plant, but you will only get a good amount of good stuff if you put the work in.

  3. ok thanks for the heads up ,ill look into smart pots bud ,seems like my clones are doing very well and the size of the bags (15l filed with soil) will hopefully yeiled some good bud.

  4. i was wondering you know those white nylon parts bags wouldn't those be ideal for pots?

  5. i belive you need black bags bud as white will let light in and thats no good for roots.

  6. this is what am useing ,just foled down from the top to around the half way point, holes in bottom and sides

  7. He's right about not using white. If I were using the black plastic, I would probably poke a bunch of tiny, tiny holes all over to help aerate the roots and maybe even have an air pruning effect.
