  1. Anybody know any cheap DIY solutions to raise the humidity maybe about 10% without using a humidifier?

  2. I have control valves on my pump I keep my buckets high and the bubbles are keeping me at 41 percent. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

  3. Lol that doesn't help me

  4. Yea I looked at your for sure different than mine. Ice is expensive over time so a cheap humidifier from a cvs or a drug store like that

  5. Hey what's up everyone, just an update.

    Temperature 77° F
    Humidity 43%
    PH 6.0
    ppm 342,324
    Water temp...?

Increased the nutes just a tad so waiting to see how they take it. The first pics are of the white widow(10 days from seed) and second two are of the kush(11 days from seed). 20170825_223737.jpg 20170825_223823.jpg 20170825_223832.jpg 20170825_223838.jpg

  7. Yeah I don't know with the pics, before when they were thumbnails you couldn't see them, now you can't see them when they're a full image... Things are going good I think, i expected them to be a little bit taller by now. I guess they're putting their energy into growing new leaves instead. I wish I had a top feed system, I may need to invest in some supplies to make this a bit easier in the future.

Currently at about 10 days they are staring to try and start growing their 3rd and might be 4th set of leaves. On the white widow there doesn't seem to be any space between nodes but on the kush there is a little bit of spacing, but doesn't seem like much maybe 1/2". I'm thinking that might make it easier for light to penetrate on that plant. We shall see, I'm happy with my efforts so far though.

    Happy growing:weed-4:

  8. What's up everyone after yesterday's dark period I had roots in the water in both buckets. Today when I was checking for more part of what I believe is the tap root came off, that sucked. Hopefully it doesn't stunt it too much considering part of it is still in the water. Do you have to continue to keep rapid rooters moist even after roots have popped out?

  9. Hey what's up everybody beginning of week 3 from seed. Today the kush is 15 days and the WW is 14 days. The roots on the kush are looking nice so I decided to take a pic of them. The WW not so pretty (that's the one that I believe I accidently tore off part of the tap root) so that pic can wait.

My water temps are a little high, but with the Hydrogaurd I think I'll be good. They are nice and white so I think they're fine.

    Temperature 78° F
    Humidity 42%
    PH 5.9
    ppm ~440
    Water temperature 82°F

  10. Here's the 3 week update, I took the pictures last night. They seem to be coming along nicely. The Kush has some thick stems and the WW is already getting a little skunky. 20170905_220612.jpg 20170905_220620.jpg 20170905_214740.jpg 20170905_220607.jpg 20170905_222014.jpg 20170905_214719.jpg 20170905_214724.jpg

  11. I've done a little defoliation to both plants, but more on the Kush. I've also been able to LST the Kush by bending and tying. I got a good picture of the WW roots a day or so ago, but they're even more bushy now. 20170908_232532.jpg 20170908_232540.jpg 20170909_171951.jpg

Question for my DWC growers, how often do you scrub out and sanitize your res?

  12. Ill say its very important to keep it all clean. Change your water every two weeks . at the least. You do not want root rot

  15. Hey what's going on people, not sure how many are following along but here is a 4 week update. Kush is 30 days from seed and the WW is 29 days. I started transitioning to bloom strength nutes at 2/3 strength 6 days ago and It's time to change the res tonight. Here are the new photos I might take some of the roots tonight, but we'll see. First up is the WW which I've only been able to train a little bit, but the kush took really well to the training IMO. Would love to hear from some of yall. 20170913_163547.jpg 20170913_163552.jpg 20170913_163558.jpg 20170913_163604.jpg

  18. Appreciate it man, this is the first thing I've grown period, except maybe a bean sprout in elementary. So I'm definitely happy with how things are going so far. I was hoping the WW would be more vigorous bc that's one of my favorite strains. And I honestly didn't expect much from the kush, but it seems the be a little more hearty. Had to up the bloom nutes today bc the PH kept spiking and they look like they are going to start budding up pretty soon. Next Tuesday will be 5 weeks. I'm wanting to get 2 more autos started in soil, bc when these end I'm going to do photos in the dwc tanks. Going to do a WW and California Orange.
