I give my autos 5ml per 10l as soon as they have broken soil. There is nothing in coco coir to feed your girls unlike soil. With autos you don't need to give them very much feed at all. I also put a little cal mag in to. I would give them nutes next time you water them.
yeah mate you were right about it be nitrogen defiency I done a Lil research has and it turns out that it also slows down growth I guess that's why mine don't have as many leaves as yours as it turns out bio bizz grow contains nitrogen and will sort the problem I plan to feed them tomorrow if the pots feel light enough I will use 1ml of bio grow with 1l of water for each plant, thanks for the help and your girls are looking way good.
I'd start with half that amount, always start with what you know isn't enough for them, and slowly work your way up with higher doses. Just to be safe. Glad to hear they are doing better!
okay thanks I will do, also do you feed your plants constant or do you go feed water feed water feed water ect or is it constant feed feed feed up until your ready to flush.
hi everyone just though I'd show yous all my girls this morning there leaves have started to come in more than the other dayand there not pointing up as much now, I feed them 3 days ago and the pots are still a little on the heavy side could last another day or two I would say would it be okay to feed them the bio grow today or will I be over watering them ??
I would definitely wait til it is dry completely before watering again. They're looking a lot better though!
Coco should not be flushed until it's harvest time. Also, coco being what I refer to as "new age" hydro, it is soil-less and needs to be treated as such. Meaning treat it as hydro. Every time you water you will need to feed. Any hydro system always has nutrients circulating throughout the system and coco is no different. Also, not being able to treat it like soil, most with soil say wait till it drys some and then water again. Being that coco is "hydro", you cannot allow it to become dry. Many variables determine how much water you will need to use. Pot size, strain, heat, etc..Just keep it moist. You can watch just about any video on youtube about growing in coco and they will tell you this. Water means nutrients are being fed to your plant. It's suggested to feed at half strength even lower in the earlier stages depending on how your plants react to it. But again, you feed every time you water so don't worry about underfeeding. Coco acts like a bodybuilder. Many small meals and snacks throughout the day. As far as the leaves being shaped that way again. Many variables. Pheno of the plant, genetics, under/overwatering, heat, etc..The biggest thing with coco as well sense it has no nutrients to feed the plant starting off, most suggest adding lime or cal/mag to coco prior to planting, and ph'ing the water used to make the coco soil-less mix. Don't take my word for it though.I'd point you to autoflower.net .....I receive all my autoflower assistance from there and youtube.
Thanks for the reply il be sure to take all that on board I now have a good understanding about coco now, I went ahead and fed anyways today as i felt they really needed some nuets in there system. And il be sure to check out this autoflower.net sounds like just the website I need. And as for the leaves pointing up theyve pretty much gone right down now most likely heat stress of being so close to the 300w.
Thanks for the reply and now after a little understanding i don't belive mine is a soil It is coco i thought that all coco were just types of soil i now no there not, i wish I kept the bag to show yous the front of it, it said canna on the front and the texture was brown very light and fluffy and contains I'm guessing it's coconut strand hairs it looked extremely different to the bag of compost I had bought to originaly use.

What I do anytime I see my plants not liking something, I ease back on the nutes, Id try just watering them a couple times to see if that helps. I would also ph the runoff water when you do water them.
I actually just had to flush my babies, they are in 2nd week of flower and are experience a lockout right now. My ac went out a couple weeks back and I hear higher temps can make nutes salt up on you, thus creating a lockout. So hopefully this flush helps them and it doesn't set back the flower schedule too much. These plants are a resilient bunch though, so heres hoping they troop through it!
ah this is a nightmare I'm pretty sure there duds they've stayed the same size for 3 weeks with only slow growth and have no major branches two of them are yellow one looks pretty much dead all yellow leaves brown spots it just looks lifeless the other looks like it's taking the same root how ever my 3rd plant only has white tip on the first leaves and all the rest are green in colour she's way healthier than the other 2 and they've all been treat the same I'm guessing at this point my plants should have been at least a few inches tall I think I'm going to have to start over from new I guess frying them under that 300w at the start must have really set them back
Come on steve lol. With coco. NEVER USE RECOMMENDED NUTE DOSAGE!!! Always start with quarter strength. Especially with autoflowers. That don't need a lot of nutrients. Most strains at least. Do not allow the coco to get dry. Most use the half rule. When your pot weighs half of what it did when you watered it, its time to water again. Make sure you're using your cal mag as well. Question, are you just using regular tap water to water? Are you getting the nutes on the leaves when you water?
Yeah I have been starting with quater strength and I have no cal mag I didn't think I was going to need any of these things tbh I though they would just grow the way they were and yeah I'm using tap water but allowing it to sit for a few days to evaporate the chemicals my tap water comes out at 7.6ph and it drops a little after I leave it for few days I only just got my ph tester so I ph down to 5.8 on there last feed
