Rosin press?

Discussion in 'Harvesting and Processing Marijuana' started by ZeusMan, Jul 5, 2019.

  1. I have been convinced to switch over to a rosin press. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I’m looking for a press capable of handling 7-14 g of material per press. Concentrate quality, ease of use and Durability are my primary concerns.

I’m currently leaning towards the nug smasher og. Does anyone have experience with this company?

Also any thoughts on wether a pressure gauge is worth the extra investment or is it an irrelevant add on?

  2. I bought a duyltek 1005 and either my weed was too cured or the press sucks! Waiting for fresh weed to try

Hmm let me know how that goes. I’m in Mexico atm, won’t have material until oct to press so I still have time to wait. I was hoping to press mostly trim to prevent the wife from worrying I blow up the house with butane or ethanol. She wasn’t real found of blasting

  5. She’s committed enough to help fund a 1k investment in a rosin press, she’s going to get her way. I’m giving up while I’m ahead

  7. Bump, those of you making bomb rosin, what press are you using? What do you like about it?

  8. I would lean towards it's the press.. you want your pressing material to be as dry as possible or you will be pressing out the water with the oils.. this is why some hash makers that use bubble hash for material use freeze dryers to dry their bubble to get every last molecule of moisture out it the hash.

If you like to have a more moist cured bud and it wasnt fully dry that could have been the problem, you said it was over cured though? So that makes it sound like it was dry... not sure...

  9. What exactly was wrong?

  10. If you need the material as dry as possible how are people claiming the same terp profile as BHO. Drying eliminates a lot of terps too

  11. My weed was cured for 2 months and it was it 62rh. I never see the melting. The oozing. I even had it up to 230 deg
