    Well if you have a straightener and clamp (or press) all you'd need is a screen, multiple options for micron size, some parchment paper, and bud or hash to press. Super super simple, you should give it a go brother

    I typically use 25 micron but I'm gonna try out some 50 micron as well that I just ordered. I'm kinda just stepping into this game as well so gotta get my preferred method dialed in lol

    Here's my quick clamp setup.. Pullin around 20-25% off buds with this lil contraption and a hair straightener. Hopefully I'll be able to move up to a press soon.

    Nice squish!! I know those Iron buds always push out the melt though, lol... I've been C-clamping my wife's hair straightener too, but I don't think it's going to hold up too long, lol..

    I finally got these 50 micron metal screens to try and some slick sheet. It's suppose to be hella hot up here over the next few... sounds like a perfect time to get my rosin on and nap it off, lol...

    Iron nice squishing buddy, what temp you at? Didn't know if you had a low temp straightener cause it looks nice and light colored man!

    GHG was talking with a buddy here who has the oil slick roll and they said they don't like it. Said its hard to get the dabs off of it

    It's not a low temp one.. I think it's just a crappy model thats supposed to be at 300 at its lowest level, but it's more like 275-280.


    I wish I could find one bigger than 1 inch wide that will go down around 250.. I think that would be perfect.


    The press time def is a big factor. The hotter the temp, the shorter the press. I'm at like 5-6 seconds at 275, just depends on the strain. The Hammer of the Gods I pressed this morning is crazy.. Totally stable and you can pick it right up with your fingers and it doesn't stick. Hard to get a small dab tho.

    Mine is the same way lol 300 minimum. I feel ya man the limited pressing is what pushed me to get a press and make it work lol

    Yeah I'm still figuring press time. At 10 seconds sometimes 15 at 200 degrees so far. Need more hash to play with for seeing what works best for me.

    That's that shatter brother lol the good stuff!

    Sounds awesome man, my press was only 200 bucks... You should definitely look into one. I know you love rosin

    Heated manually and monitored with a temp gun lol heating it back up takes time lol so I overheat it and let them drop

    No screen needed with buds. I just compress the bud really tight with my fingers til it's a little ball, fold the parchment in half and squish. I pick out big chunks afterwards, but it only takes a sec.. Most don't have any chunks at all.


    I like it cause it's just one less step to do.. But it does fly thru the buds like its goin outta style.. Mainly due to me becoming quite the rosin-head. I love those fat tasty globs. I still smoke weed of course, but dammit man, it's hard to beat some tasty rosin.
