I have 3 beautiful plants about 9 days old that are starting to show roots out of the bottom and small holes I poked on the side/bottom of the cardboard type Jiffy pot that is about 2 inches tall. I am worried about the roots being exposed to light, should I replant and if so do you recommend a 4 inch plastic pot or is the 4 inch Jiffy ok to use?
From this point if you have the room you can plant them into their final pot depending on how long you plan to veg them. But repot them if they are growing wildly out of the bottom, try not to harm them. GL happy growing.
