Has anyone had experience with this brand soil? What are your thoughts, if you have? How long were you able to grow without the use of nutrients? ðŸCajunZombieKillerðŸ
I use it. Works just as good as any other stuff. No need for nutrients for the first month or so. Go for it! Keep growing till the wheels fall off!!!
I have no clue! This is my first grow. I germinated in jiffy peat cubes, and I'm about to put them in their first container this week. I'm using a small organic container that can be put into the larger ones, so that you don't have to worry about shocking the plants. But I've read some great reviews on this brand. ðŸCajunZombieKillerðŸ
I use Roots and nutes, things are great. Im a first timer, 2 weeks into flower and everything has been a breeze the whole way here. kBz419&roLLing
I use roots original. It's loaded with Oregon gnat larvae. I'm making my own soil when I start the op back up. Right now I have a little left so I'm just running 2 plants to finish it off. Roots organic original soil only has a week or two worth of organic nutrients inside the bag. Because they are organic based, it takes longer for them to break down into plant available nutrients. They are blended in as an organic "boost" to your already scheduled nutrient line up. So no, it won't be too hot for older plants or young plants (germination in roots organics should be ok too, since the source of nutrition is organic). Additionally, punchreba, aurora innovations (the parent company that owns roots organics) does not "steam sterilize" their soils. Almost all companies steam-sterilize, which means they blow piping hot steam through the bags of soil to kill bugs and gnat larvae. This is a good thing, although, it also destroys any and all beneficial bacteria that are contained within the soil. Aurora proudly does not steam sterilize, so their bags of soil contain (by far) the most living organisms and live beneficial bacteria.
This is good to know. I have some ordered, but my seeds germinated wayyyy sooner than expected, so I went to the local hydro store (by local, I mean an hour away) and got a small bag of FFOF. I wasn't as excited about that soil as I am Roots, but I'm flexible ðŸCajunZombieKillerðŸ
