Roots in water

  1. So I just popped open my rubbermaid to add some nute solution and I have some long roots in the water is this ok or will it cause problems also I've noticed some leaves starting to curl under but no discolouration so doesn't like like nute burn not sure on these two topics
  2. add an air pump and air stone and roots will not rot very important
  3. I have 2 10" air curtains in the res. I just assumed the roots would wrap around the pot I don't want to give the plants too much nutrients I'm running my pump every hour for fifteen minutes
  4. Also if the case is that the roots won't rot then is it possible to just have plants sitting in a bucket of water as long as there's an airstone in it
  5. yep- it's worked for me
  6. Wow that's interesting I wasn't sure that would work
