Hey guys, so I just started growing, I wanted to go small, and just start with two plants, one of them is growing great, and this other one is about a week old, and the roots started poking out of the soil, should I add more dirt, move it outside or what? I was planning on giving the little guy another week of indoor then putting him outside, thanks. If you want me to post photos let me know, I'll do it when I get home, I'm using my phone ~mobalin
Pics would help. There is nothing wrong with a root or two coming to the surface. However, if a bunch start doing it then you may have a plaant thats getting root bound and needs more space! The roots that hit the surface will likely die off. Thats OK - new ones will take their place. Just get them into a larger growing area as soon as you can.
