did the big no no, put to many plants in one pot, now root bound i think, my question is how do i cut the bottom of the plastic pot away without hurting roots any ideas would be greatly apprecaited!
Potentially fatal. The best you can do is let the soil get dry, then lift the whole plant(s) strait out of its pot (if its rootbound, trust me, it'll come out fine). Next you need to try rinsing down the rootball to try and seperate it as best you can. It may require you to severaly break apart your root system, but it must be done. Repot (one per pot is the rule!) with fresh soil and clean pH adjusted water. Let this serve a lesson to you, harsh as it may end up being.
yes it will be painful my friend and lesson learned, i've learned alot here, read everyday on GC. wife hates me for it, cause i take iphone to bed with me and read, read, read, can't seem to get enough, used to be into rc airplanes alot but this took over, thanks for your post!
