root zone mucus like substance?

    I have a mucus like substance in my root zone, on the roots and airstones. Anyone know what it is?

    Chances are you have the early stages of pythium or more commonly known as root rot. If your reservoir/bucket temps are anywhere above 68`that would be my first diagnosis.
