Root tip curling?

  1. Ok so I germinated 4 seeds and planted them over the past week. I'm only planning on growing 2 plants in my box so I decided to just throw out the one that I planted 5 days ago and hasn't sprouted. I dug the seed up carefully just in case it was still good, and found something interesting. The root tip was still growing, but it had curled all the way around the seed. It still looked healthy it was just curling. Is this bad or normal. What could have caused it to curl like that and not grow down into the soil?

  2. Put it as close to face down as you can in the soil and let nature take its course. It will correct itself.

  3. Thats what I did, it looked like the tip of the root had curled around and was pushing itself back into the seed. lol. So I carefully pulled it out and tried to re-plant it as close to tip down as I could. Hopefully it will stop being retarded and grow right.

  4. When it's a plant, it's not being retarded, it's evolving :D
