Root Rot/Fungus?

    So my plant is stunted.. any clues? Both are the same age- I think its because of the root rot/Fungus on the roots. Is this root rot or just normal roots? I'm not sure.. doesn't smell odd or slimy I don't think.

    Or is it the ppm?.. (300 is the smaller one)
    I'm looking into root rot prevention with some bleach/H202 till I can afford Hydroguard or sorts.

    That is definitely a lot of root rot, I had a plant equally bad at the same stage of growth(mine was caused by light leaks I. Reservoir), I swear hydroguard could save it with the right TLC.(need to bathe those roots in h202 and then flush with clean ph-d water.)
    I would change that water, fix the light leak issue(because tape doesnt block all light unless its reflecting duct tape) and make sure your water temp is not over 70 degrees.. after I added hydroguard to my system I had no issues ever since.

    That all being said make sure you find the cause before continuing.. if you treat it but dont fix the cause you're going to waste a lot of time and energy on a light yielding plant
