Root question need help

    my plant is around 3weeks old now, in a DWC setup. a few roots came out of netpot and into water looking fat white and healthy. now i look at them and they seem to have shrunk a little, and they are no longer hanging down into the water instead now they are kinda just stuck on the bottom of the netpot. i have no idea why they are doing this

    its sticky to the bottom side of the netpots as a bit of hair would stick to a wet wall. so im not sure if i should raise my water level to hit to netpots. it is currently around 2inchs under

    What are the temps of the reservoir? How many inches under the net pot is the water level? Are you using an air stone? Are the roots still white or have they started to darken and smell funny? It's natural for some roots to be tossed around due to the movement of the bubbles of the air stone/s. At the beginning stages, some young roots will stick to the bottom or sides of the net pot, while others will start wanting to twist together. Nothing wrong with that. As long as the nute solution is hitting the roots and getting them nice and wet you should be fine. Clear pics in natural light would better help see what you're specifically talking about.

    I just read 2" under the net pot. I missed that, my bad lol. That should be fine. You can go up to an inch, but no closer than that or you'll risk drowning the roots.
