Hey guys I have a new seedling that's not even a week old. but a root is coming out of the bottom of the cup, don't ask me how the holes are small as hell and it just barely fit through. what do I do? will it just stop growing that root? do I need to move it to a different cup?
come on guys I really don't want to kill it by doing something stupid. is it ok or do I need to maybe remove it like i'm transplanting it but just put it back in the cup so the root isn't showing? I don't want to mess with it if I don't have to.
No, it's fine, it will atrophy in the next couple days anyway. But transplanting into a bigger pot should be done in the next couple days.
It's a plastic party cup. I will be transplanting when I see the 3rd leaf set, so I can bury the stem and start lsting. It'll be a week old tomorrow. I can see the 2nd leaf set, so it shouldn't be too long.
