Help! Last night I germinated a seed and planted it in a pot and when i woke up this morning the root had pushed away the soil above it and i could see it and the seed. This isn't supposed to happen, is it? Is my seed turned upside down, and if so do I need to right it?
Carefully remove it without handling the tap root and place it an inch down (tap root facing down) and lightly cover with soil. You should be fine so don't worry about it too much, sometimes seeds do invert.
