Root eggs

  1. Greetings gents, while moving seedlings to big pots, spotted some sort of eggs xD have u seen this before? I wonder if spiders go into the wet medium? Thx have a great dey[​IMG][​IMG]

  3. They look like slug eggs, but they are probably some form of osmocote fertilizer pellets that were stuck together.
     
  4. Yea that does look weird, I would remove.

    I would also be worried about all that green, honestly it looks like algae.. are you using something clear to grow in by a chance?
     
  5. I wouldnt worry much if it was just some green specks, I know I out lots of kelp meal in my soil but your roots are green and look like they are starting to rot
     
  6. I immedeatelly transported in a big pot so roots are alteady well. I just chose badly transparent pots for seedlings = green. Thx cao

So it was algae from clear pots like I guessed then.. if all you did was transplant them then you didnt solve the problem.. stopping more algae from growing doesnt take out what's already there.. it would have been smart to water with a anti root rot solution to take care of it before contaminating more soil with it
