hey dudes i have 5 cheese GH girls in my tent they are 2 month old now and they are in veg. so i thought i have to transplant them in bigger pots to be ok all the way down to harvest (they where in 11 litre pots and they are in 18 litre now) so my problem is that when i get the root ball out i see that my plants was root bound!so i find that really strange because they are only 2 months old ,anyway anyone can reelly tells me if that is because i am working with lights 24/7? and one more think the pots that i put them now they have the same height bat bigger diameter is that ok for a root bound plant(because the roots are having a party in the bottom of the root ball)?
Hey there GO - don't know if this will help but rootbound is pretty easy to spot if you look at the roots - the roots will wind around the circumference and form a belt or several belts. If they are just growing vicariously (Tool reference LOL) around the sides then it may not be bound.
yeh i think they where bound , they where with several belts down there bat i dont know if it is normal that soon
Well there ya go, at least you have an answer I've had some outdoor-friendly plants go bound on me real early before, you know how these plants are, they all have their quirks LOL
