Root Aphids - Soil Drench

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Husky42, Jul 1, 2011.

  1. Really a simple question here..

I have Root Aphids, got some bad local bag soil, i call it bag soil because it is - The place ships their soil all over i can just get it from the farm.

Never even checked the soil, had a bad Root Aphid problem, should have steamed it first - now i know

Anyways, I'm using SMS 203 - When I drench the soil, instead of actually soaking the pot like i've seen some people do I kinda do a "flush"

I was wondering though.. i always reuse the water a few times then flush it with normal luke warm distilled when i drench with a pesticide that is supposed to kill on contact. Is there any actual problem with reusing a natural pesticide like SMS 203 like I'm doing? The runoff goes into a basin, I collect it, strain it and then poor it back into the same plant.
