  1. soooo pissed man, this was the gayest thing this kid has put me and my roomies through so far. So me and a buddy had a little grow going which consisted of a healthy hermie (first hermie grow by the way) and it was rockin in its 3rd week of flowering when this bitch decides to pull the plug. Man, the thing is that it was a REAL low profile grow and we told NO ONE of this, this mother fuckr just got a little paraniod apparently. With that being said i have a healthy hermie cut at the base stem that i am looking to clone? Will it work and is there anything else i could do with this? make hash possibly?

:smoke: that bitch aint gonna phase me, i'll grow the shit back twice as potent, hahahah

You could maybe get away with cloning its branches but it gets problematic the further into flowering the plant gets. I know its hard to throw a beautiful thing away but why dont you just start over with a female clone (why were you growing a hermie anyways)?

If you trash the hermie, keep some of its pollen so you can get a few seeds from your next grow.

P.S. I think that it may be possible, although not worthwhile (if your growing for bud at least), to just stick it back into the dirt and switch lighting back to 18/6 or 24/0. The plant will slow or stop growing and flowering and focus all its energy on root growth. Although like I said it is not worth your while, it would take some time before it could regrow its root systems. And plus its a hermie, your not gonna get very much quality bud from it anyways.

  3. Doesnt even a hermie = a restart?

They are hardly worth the time/cost to grow.

  4. Yeah fuck em...all your seeds would be female from em but they will also be a lot of herms in those....I would also take some of the pollen from that and freeze it...and then grow healthy females and knock up one branch of a healthy female then ya got some feminized seeds...but start over and pistol whip that motha fucka...for me atleast.

  5. Harvested 28 grams off my easy ryder and 40 off of my citral skunk, which is fuckin amazing smoke. But the hermie was kept in another room and is just for seed production and also possibly good end bud harvest but clearly that not gonna happen thanks so some little bitch! I do think that i will try to clone it and also find some seeds burried in there(it's bushy as hell) and just go from there, but i guess i could go in the direction of making hash? waste of time?

  6. darwinpholosoph- that pistol wipping will be rained heavy on da bitch, but for the most part we cool with the kid and he just got paranoid as fuck tripping on some shroomies thinkin cops were on there way over, cleary this was a delusion, but hey not to say i havn't had a few in my day so this time the mothu fucka will live, lol, haha

  7. Meh depends on how you are making the hash any sort of water extraction will give you the pollen along with resin in your product so it may not be worth it. And remember any seeds you get from that hermie will have about a 50% chance of herming, since the plant was a herm. I would use the pollen from that plant to knock up a healthy non herm female, that way you will get fem seeds without too much herm in their genes. Ya see hermaphroditing is a recessive gene meaning that two of the chromosomes of your herm had to carry this gene. And the plant was a female that herm to male flowers. So its chromosomes were X/X and X/X no Y's so on each set of chromosomes there had to be the recessive gene for herm (since you need both recessive genes to be paired for it to surface in that phenotype, mendel's pea shit...) and in genetics mitochondrial DNA is passed on through the maternal line through each generation (no matter the dominant or recessive genes it is always passed on) (which is a great way to disprove god and eve, since we can trace humans ancestory back through this mitochondrial DNA and find the orginal maternal line...and too bad it wasnt eve...it was some precursor to homosapians someother homonoid which mutated (natural selection) into us). Meaning your herm will more than likely pass on both recessive genes to its offspring through its maternal line (the X chromosomes, and since its female thats all its got) So you could risk using this man womans seeds for plants but you will be plagued with herms...

  8. right at the momment i got the plant back in my grow tub with 4 x6500k light about 7" inches above the plant, I used honey for rooting hormone, had nothing else! cut it at more of a 45 degree angle at base and stuck it back into some good moist soil! (sunshine pro premium pottin soil) with fox farm trio soil nutes.

    may work- may not-?????????????

Hermie= an it, neither he nor she

    MAY IT LIVE ON!
