Rolling joints with a credit card

Discussion in 'Other Smoking Accessories' started by dub420, Jun 9, 2009.

  1. I've always been a bong smoker, pretty much exclusively, but I've now started smoking joints instead because my mum kept on finding bongs in my room (She's found 3 proper bongs and countless home made ones) so I wanted to switch to a more sneaky method with no evidence.

The only problem is my joint rolling skills are not that great, I can roll an alright spliff but it takes me time.

Now, I've recently discovered through videos on youtube that even an inexperienced roller can make a very nice spliff by using a credit card. The only problem is, all of the videos are shit and don't really show you how to do it.

    ie.

I'm posting here to ask if anyone can give me a decent guide/explanation on how to do it, as I just cannot tell from watching these vids.

    Thanks!

  2. From looking at the video it seems hes using the card not to roll the joint but as a trick to tuck the paper in before rollin it up. Instead of using thumbs which are big and clunky the card is skinnky and straight. After tucking the paper in he just licks it and rolls it up.

  3. The card method is just used to tuck the joint. The best way to get better at rolling is practice along with growing your thumbnail abit on your roach end thumb, will help with tucking no end.

well, i used to cheat at rolling when I first started and I always used the credit card trick.

    1. what you do is grab a piece of rolling paper and some weed.
    2. grind up said weed and get roling paper ready i.e. fold bottom part up to the bottom of the gum part (top). Crease.
    3. roll and make sure to leave no uneven parts in the joint thus far.
    4. easiest part---go back to where the gum is just being shown. place credit card on table or whatever on top of paper as far as the joint is big.
    5. press down while rolling over joint over itself, sliding credit card towards the end of joint.
    6. lick inner edge by gum and roll it up.

boom, its way easy and will roll a perfect j every time. trust me, works so well. when i didnt know how to roll, one of my buddies showed me this as an easy way to learn. all it takes from here is practice, practice, practice. :hello:

  7. Honestly, man, you don't need a tutorial or someone to explain it to you. Just roll joints, over and over again, man. You'll develop your own technique and style; do what works for you. people roll joints differently; you'll find your own way and go with that, man. practice, bro. you'll get there :D

  8. I'm friends with some dudes in well into there late 30s and 40s...shit I'm in my 30s too! We all have our own ways of doing it. Personally I use a rolling machine cause its easier to get a perfect joint along with a proper crutch all in one try. I hate having to resize the crutch to fit the tip so I just place it in the roller prior to placing the weed and paper in. My bubbies both roll my hand and do it faster than I can using the machine...but my joints have more weed and burn much better(not that theirs is shit...but its a little better)

  9. one skinners are very easy to roll , its a good activity as well , I roll mine into cones that are ridiculously "coney"

  10. Look up how to roll a joint with a dollar bill, works wonders for clumsy hands :), more or less rolls for ya.

  11. Try this video out.
    Pretty self explanatory though.
