Rockwool to clay pebbles...

  1. I never have any luck with the search function for my questions..on any site!!

So I'd like to ask..When do you transfer your seedlings to the clay pebbles?

    I have a few with 3 sets of leaves...3 - 4 inches..Just starting to show some
small roots coming out the bottom and sides....
    Thank you...

  2. I usually just wait until the tap root coming out the bottom is half inch or an inch and then transfer to the hydroton and i've never had any problems.

a picture would probably be helpful.

  3. When my beans crack and I notice the taproot, I plant them into rockwool, wait until I see a few roots coming out from underneath, then transplant into their final bucket/s using clay pebbles. You should be fine if you decide to transplant now.

  4. Thanks...
