I am going to have an aero setup.. a rubbermae container as a res. Theres gunna be some airstones / tubing with holes throughout the res. 3" net pots filled with hydroton. I need to know whether or not i definately need rockwool cubes before planting germinated seeds into the hydroton. If so i would plant the seed into the rockwool and then usurround the rckwool cube with the hydroton correct? would i need to buy bigger rockwool cubes as the plant gets bigger.. or will the hydroton filled net pots do the trick? Thanks for the help.
EDIT: I bought 1.5" x 1.5" x 1.5" rockwool cubes.. As for making the DWC / Bubble / Aeropnic setup.. how high is the water level supposed to be? I dont really understand how the air pump is going to deliver the water to the plant.. can anyone elaborate and clear that up for me thanks!
