rockwool fungus?

  1. The tops of some of my rockwool are turning a slight green color, is this normal?

  2. yes, when you have light and moisture you'll get some algae.

  3. mix in a little h202 with your water ;)

the plants like it and it kills algae

  4. Thanks for the tip.. how much per gallon ?

  5. if you have any bennies in your rez h2o2 can kill them.

  6. should i just not worry about it then?

  7. All algae will do is turn the top of your rockwool green. It's nothing to worry about. If you don't like green rockwool, then cover the top in aquarium gravel or tin foil etc to reduce light penetration.

Yes, and bennies roxx0r your soxx0rs. Bennies will rape off soil pathogens more safely and to greater benefit than H2O2 can ever hope. Plus, if your hydro system doesn't suck asshole then the extra O2 from H2O2 becomes a null point. H2O2 is great for sterilizing mediums between grows though.
