are rockwool cubes good only for clones or can you use them for seedlings too? i inherited an assload of cubes from a friend that isn't growing anymore and i'm trying to find something to do with them. i'm starting a grow from scratch soon (seeds are germintating right now) so i won't be cloning for a while.
Rockwool will work for seedlings, but I prefer those' pete pucks' that expand when put in water. Or, just soil that has been saturated fully with water and a nice warm light overhead. I find a piece of plastic wrap fastened with an elastic over the pot is a good way to keep in humidity and sprout the seeds a little faster. Just remember to take the plastic wrap off as soon as the little girls (hopefully lol) start poking their heads out. Hope this helps - good luck! TGT
