Well yeah, like the title says, anybody have any thoughts or opinions about the game Rocksmith? I never really heard about it, or got into it until a few days ago. I brought my guitar and bong over to a long lost friends place (in serious need of catching up) He whipped out this 1/4" to USB cord and started jamming the game on his 360. I thought the idea behind the game was pretty cool, and jammed along with him the best I could (He was plugged into the game, me just into the amp) So tonight I got myself a copy for PC, and started messing with it. It runs really well! No bugs to speak of so far, it's a fun game I must say, and I've barely cracked the surface. Any other guitar/bass players out there that play the Rocksmith game? To me, it seems like a neat way to get people into playing.
I was following the game's development up until they released it and the absurd amounts of DLC. Now I have no interest in the game, which sucks, 'cause I've been waiting for a real 'Guitar Hero' for a while.
