thats what dxm is, iv tried it it made me kinda itchy, it was ok but unless it was extracted I wouldnt try it again
Yeah but PLEASE BE AWARE that it can make you sick as shit and can KILL YOU if you get the wrong bottle, so I'm really hoping you didn't just read this and go try it with any random bottle. Go to the General section of the forum and near the top there is a DXM FAQ sticky, read that and go to erowid to find out all the bad stuff, then go for it, but I'm suprised no one told you it can be dangerous yet on this thread.
I wouldn't suggest doing it to many time cause i just don't think its that healthy, but its definitely an experience to be had. On that note, chugging a bottle of tussin is probably the worst way of going about it, cause its just sick and i know people that have vommited just from it. What you want is pills called Coriciden cough and cold for people with high blood pressure, one box of those should be good for 2 trips. I know alot of people who have taken crap loads of them, but to be on the safe and kosher side 6-8 pills for a first time. 8 pills (half a box) was plenty intense for me, i never understood why people needed more. the down side to Coriciden is that it has 2 active ingredients that use the same liver enzyme to break down, so its harder on your liver. So your alternative is a product called dexalone, which only has the active ingredient dXm, which you want. I've never seen dexalone in the stores, i know you can buy it online though. .....my 2 cents...oh ummm...after doing it, i ussually felt alittle off for about a week, nothing to serious, but i wouldn't do it the same week as my SATs or big game or anything...
I have drank 2 bottles of robitussin. It's a pretty good trip but gives you a minor stomach ache. It's good if you don't have weed. You won't die from trying it once lol I have done coricidin at least 10 times without any problems. I stopped after realizing how bad it was and stuck to robitussin. Make sure to get the robitussin maximum strength cough. NOT the maximum strength cough and cold.
ive never chugged a bottle of cough syrup or done triple c's so i dont know anything about those, but i have done pure powder dxm and its amazing the most ive ever done has been 1200 mg, and that messed me up bad. like i couldnt move or function so id say just find someone sellin dxm and take the poweder like 250mg to start with, and u should be alright

if your gonna go the tussin way, liquid not gellcaps, only get robitussin (or tussin) maximum strength. the other types can have SERIOUS shitty side effects, projectile vomiting, hardcore diahrea, death.
hey i never said it couldn't kill you, i know a person that died from it, but he took between 50 and a hundred pills. and drinking a bottle of syrup is not better. don't call me and idiot either, i don't touch dxm in any form, did it a few times then said fuck it. all i need is weed. I also new a guy in my dorm that had to go to the hospital for drinking to much tussin, so its no better.
I just don't get it. I have a bad cough right now and I have medicine head like you wouldn't believe from all the shit I've taken to try to ease it. I'm touching my head and can't feel it. I stand by my previous statement. You suggested someone do Coricidin instead of Robitussin, which is extremely DANGEROUS. Someone could die from your misinformation. There are ways around drinking the syrup, if you're so inclined. Idiot.
I think that speed doesnt know a damn fucking thing about DXM at all. Seems to me that he's probably talkin out his ass, he probably has done it but on accident without knowing its the dextromethorphan in tussin that fucks you up (surprisingly this can happen to a lot of people). I figure he saw dxm on the back of a corcidin package and said cool, or heard about it on the news from a death report. now lets not try to give anybody else life endangering advice, shall we?
