Robbed Big time

Discussion in 'Real Life Stories' started by Jman585, Jun 1, 2019.

  1. so today I was supposed to meet this guy to buy 17 carts off of him for $400. My buddy said he was trust worthy and I trusted what he said cuz I’ve known this kid for years. The guy I’m buying from says his cousins gonna meet me at the place we was meeting. I’m sitting there waiting, his cousin pulls up with 2 other people in his car. I give him the money and he gives me a “cookies” box which already threw me off cuz that wasn’t the brand I was buying but I just thought they was using a box. I open it up and it’s filled with tampons, half used cart, and a shit ton of broken up cigarillo packs. The kid then drove off. I was robbed of $400. So now I message the kid and I’m like wtf asshole you just robbed me. And then he’s like no i didn’t. So I tell him what happens and he flips out on his cousin. He promises me he’s gonna get me shit by tonight. Then he tells me his cousin just fucking robbed him and beat his ass cuz he confronted him and ran off with all the shit. Luckily the kid is cashapping me back the money, but I really wanna get this kid back for fucking me over. Any suggestions? Lol

  2. Yeah. Don't catch charges over 400 dollars worth of anything.

  3. So just let it go. The kid already cashapped me $100 back, said he can only do $100 every 24 hours. Just sucks cuz this guy got away with robbing me and his own blood.

  4. I understand. You don't want any potential issues or problems over this. He's already in the process of paying you back. What if you hadn't been paid back jack shit? That's the reality for most people that get robbed. Just cut those people off for good. Disassociate yourself from them entirely when this is all over and done with.

Just take the L and learn from this. That's seriously the best advise I can give you as it pertains to this small amount of cash.

  9. Whoever did that to you definitely disrespected the fuck out of you. Personally, I wouldn't associate with anybody who's tight with him

Lol they prob both n on it. I’d b surprised if u get the full 400 back. Seems pretty juvenil I’m n a legal state been growin my own off n on since the 90s but, honestly I haven’t been ripped off since I was n the 7th grade. U should find a legit supplier someone who’s got bills to pay n relies on u buyin like u rely on him supplying the product that mother fucker isn’t gunna play with U or ur $.

  12. This....just...yeah...deal with adults, not kids = 90% of these problems won't happen. Not to be ageist, but most under 25s are more interested in looking after themselves in the immediate and unfortunately in a situation like this, some of them (the shitty ones) would see something like this as an easier/better move than establishing a relationship that will bring them an ongoing income.

People need to work out that balance if they're going to do this...people can both make money and support their own usage EASILY without having to underweigh or rip anyone off...this was purely the behaviour of someone (or two) that just wanted to go "fuck it, I'll take it all".

People that do this for a living or a supplementary income...they don't fuck around, and they won't fuck YOU around. But yeah, deal with adults that have their shit together.

Do I believe the cousin story?
Seems doubtful to be honest...like why send the cousin in the first place other than to establish "it wasn't me"?
Personally I don't believe shit I head out of anyone due to there just being dodgy greedy people around...so it could just be me.
If you know where the guy lives, I wouldn't be that surprised if you found the guy over at his place smoking a lot of weed right now...but that's not my business...

Time will tell whether or not you get paid. Personally I wouldn't give the guy a red cent more business until he'd paid you back in entirety.

  13. This is a strange story. IRL the cousin who was delivering the carts would have looked in the box to see the carts before making the trip. Ask yourself if you were in his shoes and you were supposed to deliver a box of carts wouldn't you look in the box, if not to make sure the carts were there but at least out of simple curiosity? Another part I don't understand why they would put a half used cart in the box. What was their point in that? Why would they give you anything at all? That's like paying for a QP and getting a bag of lawn clippings with a joint on top. And what's up with the tampons, did they think they should at least give you some cylindrical objects since they were supposed to be selling cylindrical objects? Or were they making a cryptic statement about your masculinity?

I think there's either more or less to the story, this just doesn't pass the smell test.

  14. i feel your pain. just wait for the little thief to get locked up for something bigger. Then, fuck his girlfriend, and pay him a visit to tell him the good news. Worked for me!

  15. I agree it makes no sense. But, from what the kid said his cousin then came home and jumped him when he “confronted him” about robbing me. Luckily the kid has cashapped me $100 back and he should be cashapping me more so I’m just gonna let karma do its work on the cousin. And hey who know if I see him in public by himself he might get a lil ass whooping haha

  16. When it makes no sense it means someone is lying. The question here is who's the person lying. What you're telling us about the cousin giving you a box without bothering to check the contents doesn't make sense so either you made up the whole thing or the cousin is lying. I'm hoping it's the cousin lying but since I don't know you there's no way I'll ever know. Sorry, I'm not trying to impugn your character, I'm trying to be logical. I can't think of any reason you'd come here making up such a story so I think you're probably telling the truth and it's probably the cousin that's lying.

  17. I checked the box the moment he gave me it, but he got in the car and left so I couldn’t do anything. And I’m not lying and I upload a picture of it if you’d like, I don’t have any reason to make up a story like this.

  18. Yeah, that's what I was saying. And TBC I was saying the delivery person, the cousin, would have checked the contents of the box when the seller handed it to him, I didn't mean you. Of course you'd check the contents immediately, so would the cousin. It's human nature to look in the box, unless you're delivering pizzas I guess, I doubt pizza drivers check the boxes for pizza.

  19. still only get the $100 out of him?
