    Highly unlikely. Plants have extremely good immune defenses. Within moments of detecting a pathogen, the plant will kill every cell around the tear (Hypersensitivity response) to prevent the pathogen from infecting live cells. They can also secrete compounds that bacteria don't like.

    Plants have to deal with torn leaves all the time in the wild. If they didn't evolve an enhanced immune response, they wouldn't have made it far.
