You know, being in a military family, I get more or less used to having friends and family end up dead. You never expect a gaming buddy who *isn't* military to end up dead. Vile was in Lybia and is now dead for trying to help the new Lybian government out. He killed me in the first large fleet op I was ever in up in null space, and was the diplo for Goonswarm, and had the time to hop onto Singularity for sparring. Not every PVPer will be cool and teach the enemy indy pilot how to fight. It will suck majorly that I will never hear the facebook ping and see the little green dot and get a message to meet him over on singularity to mess around.
